Shelli Sedlak Shelli Sedlak
Senior Lighting Specialist


Shelli has over 25 years of experience in the industry and has been with GE since 2000. She joined The Institute staff in 2012. Prior to the Institute, she held positions in Specification Sales for GE and has worked in other sales and technical capacities in the industry. Shelli has a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Ohio University. She is also a member of IES, Senior member of IEEE, holds a Lighting Certified (LC) credential from the National Council on Qualification for the Lighting Professions (NCQLP) and is a USGBC LEED AP. She has served on the IES and NCQLP Boards as a Director and is active on several industry committees. 

 

Dave Korow Dave Korow
Senior Lighting Specialist

Dave has over 30 years of service with GE. He came to GE as a student co-op in HID engineering in 1981; he took a full time position in 1983 after graduating with an electrical engineering degree from Cleveland State University. In his career with GE, Dave has served as a Design Engineer for Metal Halide Lamps ans as a Project Leader in Compact Fluorescent Lamps. The last ten years, Dave served as Product Service Engineer for HIS lamps and ballasts. He is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA), and is Lighting Certified (LC) by NCQLP. Dave joined The Institute staff in 2009. 

 

Sri Rahm Sri Rahm
Senior Lighting Specialist

Sri Rahm, M.S. (Physics); M.B.A., joined GE in 1980 as a Physicist in the Metal Halide Engineering Department. Between 1986 and 1999 Sri worked in a number of different capacities in the Lighting industry including engineering, marketing, training and consulting, and returned to GE in 1999 as a staff member in The Institute. He teaches Physics as a part-time faculty member at Case Western Reserve University. Sri is Lighting Certified (LC) by the NCQLP and is a member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) where he serves on the Papers Committee.
