Solar Parking Garage Generates 2.3MW Clean Energy

April 24, 2017

At GE, we have been involved in power generation for more than 100 years – and now we’re getting to put renewable energy on site at our own facilities and at customer facilities across the country.

We’re very excited about our project in Schenectady, NY, where we’re using solar in a parking garage to generate 2.3 MW of energy, saving on operating costs and reducing the environmental footprint.

GE solar energy allows us to cut down on transmission inefficiencies and build scalable, economical, and renewable energy right where our customers need it.
