Schenectady gets $1 million for its 'smart city' project

Schenectady, New York, is getting $1 million from the state to install 'smart' lighting technology in the city's Mont Pleasant neighborhood.

State Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara and Mayor Gary McCarthy pushed for the New York state capital project funding. It will provide an entry to bring more smart technologies to the neighborhood.
